Our People

Bayside Law Group was founded by Aly Morgan Greig.

Aly has had unique legal experience and training, commencing her career at one of Australia’s top national law firms, where she worked her way to senior associate, then spent several years practising at a Sutherland Shire based practice before establishing Bayside Law Group. This special combination of expert legal training which a big firm is able to provide together with local knowledge, allows Aly to obtain the best results for her clients.

Aly recognised that there was a need in the local community for a high quality legal service which offered clients commercial, timely and cost effective options. With advancements in technology and the changing workplace and business market, Aly understands that the legal profession needs to move forward by offering clients flexible consultation options.

In establishing Bayside Law Group, Aly, wanted to break free from the traditional perceptions around legal professionals and law firms. “I wanted to build a law firm where client relations are paramount and where the services we provide assist our clients in moving their businesses and their lives forward in a positive direction. I am passionate about helping people understand and protect their rights and mitigate their risks. I don’t want my clients to be focussed on the cost associated with gaining advice. I want them to see, understand and appreciate the value that they get from engaging an expert.”

Aly graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Acts (History and Politics Majors and International Relations Minor).

In addition to working in private practice, Aly previously completed an inhouse secondment with one of Australia’s leading banks where she worked closely with a number of legal and business units and pursued her interest in human rights law by completing a secondment with one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisations to work on an international war crimes project.
